Surely Sign language

                                         
 

Hey bloggers, today we've been learning sign language, because it is sign language week. We've been playing this game called "Sign Ninja" where we have to watch different videos to answer different questions. But you need to learn to know the answers for each question, if you get one question wrong, you'll have to redo all the questions, which is quite annoying. You have to earn "sacks" to feed the monster like food, blocking you from the next door. On top is the video of me introducing myself. I hope you enjoy learning sign language.

Fast and insane rocket (not really insane)

Hey bloggers, this week we've did our final launch for our rockets, many teams participated in this compitition for the top three furtherest ones. Our group is called MASA (not named by me) with Taine, Daimien, Cameron, Jordan, kayden, Billie and me. Our rocket on the final day of launch only went 18 metres, which was concideribly further than our previous launch, because it didn't imeadiently crash onto the ground. I like our design, because the shape of fins being aerodynamic and sleak. Overall I think our rocket is great and maybe next time use a newer and less damaged rocket. We've also have an epic trailer for you to filthily enjoy (for real!). I hope you've enjoyed our look and the practicality of our rocket.

Hey bloggers, this week we've been looking into Genre studies, because were going to make a video essay for this term as our big project in literacy. So far I'm doing my on Action, but my one isn't complete and I still have my script (essay) to finish, before I start making my recording and video. Hey bloggers, today we've been playing around with python and learnt some basics of the premise. We've used Codesters to do our turtorial and making our own short animation (a bit different) about our issue like those short videos telling us what to do. My one is about going on less devices and a watchful wizard will always be there spying beside you, to reduce the amount of time of you going on your devices, my video is targeted towards kids, because they beliven more things than older people and the background is a haunted house. I hope you find the comic Phython funny, but also gives out a message. You should also do some python on Codesters to learn more about python (But not the most mathy one).

Samoan recap

Hey bloggers, today we've been doing a full recap on Slides about Samoan. There are info about Samoan, a triditional dance video, basic greetings, alphabets, counting from 1 to 10, info about our Siapo and our animation about basic conversations. We had to hyper link our slides to the images, so you can press onto the links to view everything that we've learn't and done over the terms. Maori Games

 

Hey bloggers, today we've been writing some instructions for our Maori games. We've been put in into groups that then have to write their own set of instructions, my group were Olivia F, Matilda, Tom and Valley-Rose and had to do Pukana. The teachers had also made it more interesting by making our own video to demostrate the actual game and turning the video link to a QR code, which is really facinating! Make sure to scan the QR code properly and it should pop up with our video with us doing a voice over to explain the rules. I hope you really find this interesting and actually watch the video! Tell us in the comments of the QR code doesn't work, so I can redo it. 

Samoan Greetings

 

Hey bloggers, today we've been learning some basic greetings in Samoan, it's a language that isn't very oftnely used. The overall look and sound is definitely quite similar to Maori, which is ofthen more reconized by people. Here is my smooth-ish animation of tow people explaining all the greetings while skating (for fun :) that we would oftenly use in English to Samoan. Disclaimer: Near to the end, I didn't do their movement and any extra frames. I hope you've learnt some basic greetings in Samoan. Did you think some of them were really different to Maori?
